CO2 impact of Ingredents

We take the latest IPCC and Government data to calculate for carbon impact of each ingredient

We look are a range of fact, figures and reports to build our Climate Change impact numbers... From CO2 data to Food Miles we look at all aspects of the food supply chain so you can have an informed view of climate change impact of every plate!

Food Miles

We calculate the Food Miles of each ingredent, giving extra points to each ingredent for being local and having less miles!

How's it made?

We try to support the best in agriculture and every ingredent is scored for hows it produced. Wether its Convential, Organic, Regerative or Veganic, the climate change impact and social importance can make a signifcant differnce to the overall score

Who's making it?

The stucture of the companies and how they operate makes a big difference to the impact of each ingredent, we look at who owns the producer and what are their ideals?

Social Impact

From Public Health to wellness and fitness outcomes, we look at how the food system effects our health and promotes equality

Overall Score

We combine all these factors to give each dish a ClimateKitchen.org Planet Friendly Score... the lower the number the happer the Planet!
